Admissions Policy

Capitol Hill Christian Academy (CHCA) exists to partner with families and churches to provide a Christ-centered, classical education. We believe that those who will benefit most from our program know the Lord as their personal Savior and desire that their children be educated with a Biblical worldview. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic background. Biblical principles are integrated into every subject taught at our school. Our staff is committed not only to academic excellence, but also to teaching students how to apply the teachings of God’s Word. Information relating to special circumstances which may affect student’s educational experience (behavior, learning, or emotional difficulties or issues) should be made known during the application process. Failure to disclose any known medical need, academic need, or custodial/legal agreements may result in disenrollment.

Admissions process:

  1. Submit application (deadline: March 30, 2025) 
  2. Parent interview with Head of School (Feb-April, 2025) 
  3. Family interview (parents and child) with Head of School and Board Member (Feb-April, 2025)
  4. Admission letter sent to parents (April 1-30, 2025) 
  5. Enrollment deadline submitted by parents (May 1, 2025) 1st payment due: $2400 total 
    • signed enrollment agreement
    • activity fee: $500 per student (field trips, school supplies)
    • academic fee: $200
    • enrollment processing fee: $200; no processing fee if you pay tuition in full by June 1
    • 1st deposit = 10% tuition ($1500)
    • Late enrollment (May 2 - June 30, late fee $1000)
  6. 2nd payment due June 1, 2025 (30% of tuition, $4500)
  7. 3rd payment due Sept 1, 2025 (SY 25-26 tuition remainder): $9000
    • remainder can be paid monthly ($900 per month) or bi-annually beginning September 1, 2025
  8. SY 26-27 Payments
    • May 1, 2026: $2400 (10% Deposit for SY 2026-27 and the above listed fees; which can be refunded if you decide not to re-enroll. Our payment platform includes all payments that would be made for the entirety of the school year which is why that amount is included)
    • June 1, 2026: $4500 (30% Deposit for SY 2026-27, which can be refunded if you decide not to re-enroll)
    • TOTAL AMOUNT: $22,800

To begin the application process, please click the "Create an Account" tab at the top of this page to create an application account. From there, you will be instructed to create a login, password, and verify your email via a message to your email account.

2. Click to Start Application 

You have the flexibility to log in and out of your application account without losing your data as it will autosave. There will be a green check mark for each section once you have completed all required fields.

3. Review and Submit & Pay Application Fee

Once all required fields of the application are complete, you must select "Review & Submit." You will then be instructed to pay the application fee of $250.00 per student.

4. Request/Submit Required Documents

Please be sure that all required documents are provided to the admissions office:

  • Photo of your student
  • Any testing documentation (if relevant)
  • Any report cards (if available)
